Hunters and Anglers

Most hunting and fishing accidents are not exotic. A fall, a rollover, a heart attack, cold water. What makes them serious is the distance and the delay. Our job is to shorten both: one number, a case manager who owns the case from the first call, and rotary and ground assets we vetted before the season rather than during your emergency.

Who We Protect · Hunters and Anglers

The Nearest Hospital Is Hours Away. We Know.

Remote camps, live weapons, cold water and distance. Hunting and fishing trips concentrate exactly the risks that make self rescue impossible. One call reaches an operations centre that coordinates response to wherever your camp is.

The Risks You Actually Face

Three Things That Turn A Good Trip Into A Rescue

None of these are unusual. They are the ordinary conditions of hunting and fishing anywhere worth going, and each one adds hours between the incident and the treatment. Everything we do is aimed at those hours.

Distance From Care

The best water and the best country are far from trauma care by design.

Field Injuries

Firearm accidents, falls, lacerations and hypothermia demand fast, coordinated response.

Communication Gaps

Dead zones require planning. We brief you on check in and satellite options before you go.

The Right Configuration

Rescue Covers the Trip. Command Covers the Year.

A single trip Rescue plan covers an annual hunt cleanly. Guides, outfitters and travellers who live outdoors choose an annual Rescue Command membership and carry telehealth for everything the field throws at them between trips.

How A Response Works

What A Call From The Backcountry Looks Like

An ATV rolls on a two track, four hours from anything. The message comes through a satellite device with barely any detail. A case manager takes ownership immediately, works the location, and runs ground and air options in parallel while identifying the right trauma centre, so nothing waits on a decision being handed to somebody else.
Support

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Field rescue and medical evacuation respond to injury regardless of the activity, including firearm and fall injuries on hunting trips, under the triggers published on our When We Deploy page.
Response starts when we receive your call from any device, including satellite messengers and phones. We recommend carrying satellite communication in dead zones and registering your camp coordinates in your member profile before departure.
Before The Season Opens

Plan The Way Out, Not Just The Way In.

The tags, the gear, the licence and the drive are all sorted months ahead. The extraction usually gets a satellite messenger and a hope. Membership covers the whole season rather than one trip, works in the backcountry and abroad, and puts an operations centre and vetted rotary and ground partners behind every day you spend out there.
