Who We Protect

We protect people who go where the response network thins out. Some do it deliberately, at altitude or underwater or in the backcountry. Some do it because their work sends them. The membership does not care which. It cares where you are, how far the nearest capable facility sits, and how fast we can close that gap.

A climber and a cruise passenger do not face the same risks. Find the membership configuration built for your kind of trip.

Common Questions

What People Ask Before They Join

No. The groups exist to show you what usually goes wrong on that kind of trip. The membership itself is not restricted by category, so a diver who also treks is covered for both without buying twice.
Then you are the normal case. Most members travel in more than one way over a year, and the membership covers the person rather than the trip type. Choose your tier on where you go and how remote it gets, not on what you do when you arrive.
No. Activity exclusions are the standard reason travel policies fail exactly when they are needed. Our exclusions are published in full and you should read them before joining, but climbing, diving, hunting and backcountry travel are what this membership was built for.
Pricing is published on the pricing page and applies as shown. There is no health questionnaire and no underwriting review, so nobody reprices you after an incident or declines you afterwards for something you did not know to declare.
We are not an insurer settling a claim, so we are not looking for a reason to decline one. Our job is coordination and transport. Tell the operations centre what is relevant when you call and it helps them plan the response.
As well. Insurance reimburses cost. We provide the response. Most members carry both, and the two do different jobs. If budget forces a choice, decide based on whether you need the money back or need someone to come.
Distance from a capable medical facility matters more than distance from a city. A dive site two hours from the nearest chamber counts. So does a cruise ship. If you are not sure where your trip sits, call the operations centre before you book.
Memberships run annually and cover repeat trips within the period rather than a single journey. Dates and any trip length limits are published on the membership pages.
Yes. Family options are shown on the pricing page with the price for each configuration listed openly.
A case manager takes ownership immediately and stays with the case until it closes. There is no claim to open before help moves and no reference number that hands you to somebody else. Deployment triggers are published, so you know in advance what will move and when.
Find Your Fit

However You Travel, The Number Is The Same.

Seven groups, one operations centre and one set of published prices. Whether you climb, dive, sail, study abroad or work from wherever the wifi holds, the membership covers the person rather than the trip. Compare the tiers and see what your kind of travel actually costs.
