Messages sent through this website, by email, or on social media are not monitored as emergency channels and no response time is guaranteed for them.

A membership is not an insurance policy
Private Rescue memberships (Rescue, Rescue Command, Rescue Black, and the Summit High-Altitude Extension) are service memberships. They provide access to advisory, field rescue, medical evacuation, and related response services as described in the Member Services Agreement. They are not insurance, they do not reimburse costs you incur yourself, and they do not pay your hospital or medical bills unless the Member Services Agreement expressly says otherwise. The optional Travel Insurance Add-On is a separate, underwritten insurance product governed by its own policy wording, including its own limits, exclusions, and claims process.
Service scope and deployment decisions
Descriptions of our services on this website, including the When We Deploy page and the Inside an Operation pages, are summaries. Whether and how we deploy in a specific situation is governed by the Member Services Agreement, including its triggers, altitude limits, excluded areas, and general exclusions. Operational decisions also depend on conditions we do not control, such as weather, airspace access, security conditions, and the decisions of local authorities. No description on this website is a guarantee of a particular response, method, or timeframe in a specific emergency.
Destination guides and travel intelligence
Our destination pages, travel intelligence content, and blog articles describe risks, entry requirements, medical infrastructure, and local conditions as we understood them at the time of writing. This kind of information changes quickly and without notice.
